Why a zombie horde is good practice
Fast single targets reward reflexes. A slow, crowded horde rewards something more useful: scanning ahead, picking the next word while your fingers finish the current one. That habit of reading one word ahead is the same one that lifts your speed in a plain 1-minute typing test.
Your combo multiplier climbs with every five clean kills, so a typo costs more than the zombie in front of you. If accuracy keeps breaking your streak, the how to type faster guide shows how to find and drill the keys you miss most.

Questions players ask
How do you play the zombie typing game?
Zombies shuffle down toward your barricade, each carrying a word. Type the first letter of a word to lock on, finish it to drop that zombie. Every zombie that reaches the barricade costs a shield; lose all three and the horde breaks through.
How is it different from TypeBlaster?
Same engine, different pressure. Zombies move about a fifth slower than ships but each wave sends three more of them, so the challenge is keeping a steady rhythm across a crowded screen rather than reacting to fast single threats.
Is this like The Typing of the Dead?
It shares the idea of typing words to stop zombies, which The Typing of the Dead (Sega) made famous. This is our own free browser game with simple keycap graphics, no gore, and real WPM and accuracy at the end of each run.
Is it suitable for kids?
Yes. The zombies are green keycaps with words on them, there is no blood, and the word lists are filtered to remove offensive words. Start on Cadet for short, common words.
Does it work on a phone?
It does: tap the playfield to bring up the keyboard. On a small screen the horde is harder to read, so a laptop or desktop keyboard is the best way to play.
